Border collie - grooming and show trim

Can you do a show prep (grooming/trim) on border collies?

Would be great to have some tips as I'm not a professional groomer and groom my dogs myself 😊 The closest I saw on the feed was a sheltie. And saw some good things on paws and feathers but from other breeds!

Most difficult for me is the ears and the paws (never seem to be able to have them symmetric with the other side paw).

Oh, and the volume! It's so hard to have the coat lay all "flat down" they always get their fur back up and kinda wavy on some spots 😭
